PROJECTS
Nagpur Metro Rail

My first job was as a Junior Engineer working for the owner representatives on the Nagpur Metro Rail project. A project started in 2014 in a city called Nagpur in India. Spanning about 24 miles, with 42 stations, this 8680 crore INR project was unique for employing a 5-Dimensional Building Information Modeling system for the first time on this scale in India.
Dashboards
As part of the Owner's support team on site, my duties included drafting proposals, raising RFIs and compiling dashboards and reports based on the general contractor's inputs. I worked closely with the procurement, contracts and progress monitoring team on this project.
SynTrack

SynTrack was a natural successor to the reporting methodology created on the Nagpur Metro project; an infrastructure reporting tool developed for all the company's projects; a data-driven analytics tool that not only provided an overview of project health but also allowed for mitigation and correction measures to meet project requirements- on budget and on time.
We had the expertise in the form of project managers and company directors and guidance from the years of experience the team had on infrastructure projects. The team was expanded to include database experts and web developers so that we could deliver a usable application.

It was while working with the SynTrack team that I expanded my visualization capabilities to include Tableau and MS Power BI. Following the instructions of our database experts, I became acquainted with database design and with using MySQL workbench.
